Dates before year 100 are unsupported

Problem
When using a standard date field or creating a custom one you cannot set a date before year 100.
If you type in year 99 in a date field, it will be automatically converted to 1999. Similarly, 21 will be converted to 2021.
Suggested workaround
A possible workaround will be to use a text-formatted field for storing such dates.
