When trying to run FotoStation on Mac OS, a system message appears saying that the installer cannot be run because it is from an unidentified developer.
This issue is caused by the fact that "Gatekeeper" - the system that verifies the identity of the software developer - on Mac OS X 10.9.5 and later doesn't recognize "Version 1" code signatures, which is what's used in current versions of FotoStation. We are working on a new version of FotoStation which will resolve this issue.
- Hold down the Control key while clicking on the FotoStation program icon in the Applications folder.
- Choose Open in the context menu.
- A popup window will appear telling you that FotoStation is from an unidentified developer. Click on OK to proceed and open the application.
Having completed the above steps, subsequent launches of FotoStation will not display the prompt about developer identity.
