How to prevent crawling of specific folders
When adding document folders to an index, that folder may have a number of subfolders that can also be indexed. However, if you wish to exclude certain subfolders from the index, this can be done by adding a tilde character (~) anywhere in the folder name. When Index Manager encounters such a folder, it will ignore that folder and all its subfolders.
Tip:
Adding a filter to an index can also be a practical way to control its content.
