Additional input options available when a channel acts as a slave to another channel.
Where: Channel | Input Options | Miscellaneous (Slave channel) tab
When a channel is configured to use the input folder of another channel (set up on the Channel Settings tab, documented here) it takes on the role as that channel’s slave channel. Color Factory will then process the input files in the master channel first, and then see if any slave channels exist. A master channel can have several slave channels.
Though a slave channel can be configured basically any way you like featurewise, your input options are somewhat limited, as the above screenshot shows.
Mirror subfolder structure – Makes it possible to mirror the file and folder structure of the input folder when storing files in the output folder. This option is not available if the master channel isn’t set up to include subfolders under Input options.
Copy File Date from Input File to Output File – To preserve the original date stamp of the input file on the output file, select this option.
