Adding a custom site logo to FotoWeb mobile apps

Note: The topic applies to releases earlier than FotoWeb 8.0 Feature Release 12 only.

For FotoWeb 8.0 Feature Release 12 and newer, see Branding the site

This topic explains how to configure FotoWeb to display a custom company logo in FotoWeb on iPhone or Android.

Note: Implementing custom logos as described below is not available on FotoWeb for iPad.

When you log on to the FotoWeb site using FotoWeb for iOS or Android, a small graphic is shown at the top of the application's start screen, above the marquee. The default graphics shows a Fotoware logo, but this can easily be changed by placing a custom logo file on the server, so hat you can for instance brand the app with your company logo.

How to embed a custom site log

  1. Create a graphics file of exactly 550 x 88 pixels in size and stored in PNG format using the exact file name mobile.png
  2. Place that file in the following folder on the FotoWeb server: C:\ProgramData\Fotoware\FotoWeb\Site Settings\<sitename>\custom\Logos (if the custom\logos folders don't exist, create them).

Note: Due to caching mechanisms, it may take a few hours for the logo to appear on your device.

Tip: You can also change the logos in the FotoWeb browser interfaces.
