Creating metadata taxonomies

This guide provides a complete overview of how to enable taxonomies for metadata fields, define the content of taxonomies, and use taxonomies for navigation, metadata input, and when searching for assets in your DAM system.

Enabling taxonomies for fields and assigning them to archives requires administrator access.

Once taxonomies have been enabled for certain fields and assigned to archives and/or actions, a user with taxonomy manager privileges can log on to FotoWeb and structure the taxonomy content using either the Main or the Pro interface.
