The difference between POOLs and Archives

Your FotoWare solution gives you access to minimum one archive and one POOL.

POOL is a physical storage container for content - for all practical purposes you can think of it as a hard drive that has a certain amount of space available for storing all your assets.

A single POOL may have several archives associated with it; each archive then presents a different logical set of content that is all stored in your POOL. For example, a single POOL can contain several categories of pictures, but users are presented with archives that show the different categories of pictures independently.
