Showcasing an album on the Fotoware homepage

Overview

When sharing an album is it possible to make it visible on other users' home pages when they log in. Learn how to do this in the FotoWeb Pro interface.

Showcasing an album

When a user has been given access to show albums on other users' home pages, when sharing the album they can choose to show the album on the homepage that users see after logging in to FotoWeb.

If the FotoWeb server has a portal license, portal (guest) users will have access to this, just like authenticated users, and web search engines such as Google will be able to find and make the content searchable.

You can set a release date and time and an expiry date at which the album will be removed from the homepage. If you also select Allow downloads, all users will be able to download assets from the album, including guests if your server has a portal license.

Note: The album owner or manager can only grant download permissions it they have been given the right to allow downloads from albums.
