Choosing a project server for FotoStation projects
Index Manager comes with a database that hosts FotoStation projects.
Changing the FotoStation project server
By default, Index Manager uses its own internal SQL database for hosting FotoStation projects.
However, if you're already running a SQL server in your network you can change the configuration in Index Manager to use the external SQL server instead:
Go to Service Options in the Index Manager configuration and choose the Project Server tab.
Choose Use MS SQL Database and type in the server's host name, database name, user id and password, and then click on Create/verify schema.
With the correct credentials, the project database schema should then be created and ready for use. You can click on Test connection to verify the settings.
