Apply metadata macros
Creating a metadata macro
To apply a metadata macro, you first need to create one. Once created, you can copy and edit a macro, as well as rearrange the order of macros if necessary.
Macros are applied in sequence, beginning with the first on the list. If you have a large workflow with several macros, you may need to rearrange the order so that specific macros are applied before others.
- Select Apply metadata macros.
- Select Create.
- Enter a name for the macro (maximum 50 characters).
- Select Add operations.
- Select values from the drop-down lists for field and operation. You can have as many operations as necessary.
- Enter a value in the Value field, or select Insert field to select the field from a drop-down list.
- Select Add condition. You can add only one condition.
- Select values from the field and evaluation operator drop-down lists.
- Enter a value in the Value field (if relevant).
- Select Save.
