Creating a flow

Learn how to create a flow.

Creating a flow

When creating a flow, you choose a predefined template and then set the values according to (the template selected and ?) your requirements.  You can return to the Dashboard anytime by selecting the Home icon  (add the icon when publishing).

  1. On the Flow Dashboard, select Create Flow. (capitals for UI buttons) The New flow dialog opens.
  2. Enter a name for the flow and select a template from the Template drop-down list.
  3. Select Create.
The newly created flow opens in the Building Space (subject to change) page. By default, the flow is disabled.

Maybe link to the following 3 sections - ask the team what makes more sense.

Select When a scheduled event occurs to select when you want the event to take place and how often.

Select the day (or several days) from the Days drop-down list.

When you have made your selection, select Save.

Select Get assets to select a pool and and search for assets.

Select Delete assets to delete the assets.

Time-based scheduling

Schedulers allow you to determine when the workflow should run and process assets. You can select specific days and multiple days and set particular times of day for operation.

Actions

Select Get assets to choose the pool from where to retrieve the assets and enter a search query.

Select Delete assets to delete assets (need more info). This action permanently removes selected assets from your pool. You cannot recover deleted assets.

From Pool

Under the input node, specify which pool (link to pool documentation) and search string should be configured. The search string utilizes DTSyntax (link to FotoStation syntax), consistent with standards used in Color Factory and FotoStation. Dynamic tags conform to the same standards as those in FotoWeb (link to FotoWeb dynamic tags). The following tags are implemented in the Flow: {{date.now}}.

Need to restructure the above
