Creating an action

Note: Actions are only available to Editor users. Also, the Editor user must be a member of a group that has the rights to manage workflows.

  1. From the Tools menu (cogwheel icon), go to Site Configuration > Workflows > Actions.
  2. Select Add action.
  3. Enter a name for the action and, optionally, add a description of what the action does.

General Action settings

  1. Select an action type. Three types of actions are available, and they are only available to Editor users
  • Standard actions offer the least functionality
  • Extended actions offer more functionality.
  • Extended Pro actions offer the crop functionality in addition to the Extended actions functionality. The crop functionality is only available if the action is run in the Pro interface. 
  1. In the Display section, you can select some display options for the action.
  2. Select Save.
