Fotoware as a Service - May 2024 update

Deployment

This release is being gradually deployed and will be available on all tenants soon.

As mentioned previously, built-in support for external tracking tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and PIWIK, was discontinued on April 1st, 2024.

New functionality

  • In the Archives list in Site Configuration, we added a Metadata Views column so users can easily see which metadata view is in use for each archive.

  • In the Archives detail view in Site Configuration, it's now easier to identify which metadata field number is connected to the list of taxonomy filters as the metadata field number is displayed in front of the taxonomy filters.

Fixed issues

  • The Selection Widget did not open archives or albums when the archive had a metadata view, which included at least one bag field as a thumbnail field, and the bag field contained a short date format (2024-03-22) or ISO date format as a single value. This is now fixed.
  • An Unexpected Technical Problem error message was displayed when opening archives. This is now fixed.
  • The action tooltip displayed only the action name, not the description. This is now fixed, and the action tooltip displays both the action name and description.
  • In the Pro interface, the information panel was not updated when navigating to a new asset; it continued to display data from the first asset. This is now fixed, and the correct data for each asset is displayed in the information panel.
  • The webhook notification JSON data contained a href that had been double URL encoded and also included a redundant port number ":443".  This is now fixed, and the webhook notification JSON data contains a href with the correct URL encoding and does not have a port number.
  • An error appeared when processing multiple images with an action that added metadata. This is now fixed.
