Multi-Factor Authentication in FotoWare - a Primer
FotoWare does not support multi-factor authentication (MFA) natively. However, you can enable MFA for FotoWare SaaS and On-Premises by using single sign-on (SSO) with a third-party identity provider that supports MFA.
FotoWare SSO works with Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft Office 365, and any third-party identity provider that supports the SAML 2.0 protocol. Note that it is even possible to set up SSO in FotoWare SAAS with an on-premises Active Directory server by using Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) in combination with SAML 2.0.

To get (or enforce) multi-factor authentication, you have to configure your identity provider accordingly. This is outside the scope of FotoWare's products, documentation, and support.
FotoWare SSO currently works for the web interface, embeddable widgets, and all apps using the REST API and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
It also works for the latest versions of FotoWeb Desktop, the FotoWeb Desktop plugin for Adobe InDesign, and the FotoWeb Desktop plugin for Microsoft Office.
It is currently not supported with FotoStation and the FotoWare Mobile app.
