Connecting Color Factory and Fotoware Veloz

You can integrate Color Factory with Fotoware Veloz in two steps: first, obtain your app credentials from Fotoware Veloz and then configure Color Factory using those credentials.

Prerequisite

Color Factory is installed and licensed on your server.

Obtaining application credentials from Fotoware Veloz.

  1. From the Tools menu (cogwheel icon), go to Site Configuration > Integrations > Applications. 
  2. Select Add application.
  3. From the Type dropdown list, select Fotoware Server Applications.
  4. Enter a name for the application.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Copy the client ID and client secret.
  7. Select OK. Your credentials are ready to use in Color Factory. 

Setting up Color Factory

  1. Open Color Factory Settings and create a channel.
  2. Open Enable Features and select Input & Output Options.
  3. Configure the SaaS pools as either Remote Input or Remote Output:
    • Remote Input - select FotoWare SaaS Search as your input source.
    • Remote Output - select FotoWare SaaS Output as your destination.
  4. To choose your source/destination, enter your client ID, client secret, and SaaS server (hostname) from step 6 in the section above.
  5. Select Refresh list and choose a pool from the list.
  6. Configure the other options for your channel, as required.
