Fotoware Veloz - May 2025 update
Deployment
This release is being gradually deployed and will be available on all tenants soon.
Improvements
- Manual video re-transcoding functionality has been removed from Fotoware Veloz. There is an automation built in for retranscoding if it is necessary.
- Fotoware Veloz has been updated to use the new Fotoware logo in the Main and Pro interfaces. If you are using custom logos, these will not change.
Fixed issues
The following issues are fixed in this release:
- Some PDF files were not displaying a thumbnail in the Selection Widget and couldn't be used as poster images even if the PDF preview was rendering correctly.
- The Custom field on the signup form was not saved or displayed.
- When trying to upload multiple video files, the background task appeared to fail and the Retry option was displayed.
- Unexpected XMP files were added to a zip file when downloading.
- In the Pro interface, Manage Users/Groups didn't open when you selected it from the Tools menu (cogwheel icon).
- Metadata was not applied on upload for some metadata fields for some TIFF files.
- The Resolution value for uploaded assets was displaying the wrong dimension on the asset parameters page.
Known issues
- When linking consent forms to an asset, the selected consent forms are not saved if you navigate through more than one page of consent forms.
- The Editing data workflow action times out when applied to batch assets.
