Having chosen a suitable server in your network for the Fotoware License server, Fotoware needs the MAC address of your server to generate the license files. Here's how to find it.

Finding the MAC address of your server

Start by opening the Windows command prompt.
Enter the following and press Enter:

`1`	`ipconfig /all`

Locate the entry for the server's Ethernet card in the list of available interfaces:

The Physical Address in line 4 above is the ID Fotoware needs to be able to create the license file that you need for the license server. Send that information to us to allow us to generate the license file.
