Configuring annotations for use

An administrator needs to configure the following to enable annotations in the Fotoware system.
Enabling annotations in an archive
- From the Tools menu (cogwheel icon), go to Site Configuration > Archives.
- Open the General tab.
- For all users with access to the archive, turn on the Enable annotations toggle to see annotations created on assets.
- Select Save.
Giving users or groups access to create annotations in the archive
- From the Tools menu (cogwheel icon), go to Site Configuration > Archives.
- Open the Access list tab.
- To give users or groups access to create annotations, select the Annotate permission.
- Select Save.
Giving superusers access to manage and moderate annotations
On the General tab for the specific group, select Manage annotations to allow members of the group to moderate and edit other users' annotations.
Save your changes.
