Setting asset status

Before users can set a status on assets, the Status metadata field (Field 10) must be enabled in the metadata view assigned to the archive.
- Open the metadata view used by the archive.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Locate 10 - Status in the list of fields.
- Select the View and Edit checkboxes as required.
- Save the metadata view.
After the Status field has been enabled, users can assign a status color to assets from the thumbnail grid or the Details page.
Select one or more assets on the thumbnail grid and then select Set Status in the Action bar. Finally, click a status in the overlay to apply it to the selected assets.

Setting status on the Details page
When viewing an asset on the Details page, you can set its status by clicking on the Action button and then choosing Set Status. Then choose a status in the overlay dialog.
