Assigning a metadata view to an archive
By assigning a metadata set to an archive, you manage which metadata fields users can edit in the archive (assuming they are allowed to edit metadata in the archive in question, of course) and which taxonomies they can access.
In addition, users who are allowed to upload files to the archive will be required to fill in metadata in accordance with the field requirements specified in the metadata set.
Assigning a metadata view to an archive
- From the Tools menu (cogwheel icon), go to Site Configuration > Archives.
- Select Edit to open the archive's properties.
- On the General tab, select metadata view from the Metadata view drop-down list.
- Select OK to save the changes.
