Creating a Duplicate of a Revision

Access requirement: To use this feature, a user needs to have the View revisions, Copy from, and Copy to access permissions set in the archive properties.

At times it may be desirable to create a duplicate of a certain revision of an asset.

This can be accomplished in the following way:

• Locate the asset and click on it to go to the Asset Details page.
• Open the Revisions tab and click on the View link next to the version you want to duplicate
  
  
• While viewing the revision, click on the Duplicate button to create a new file that's "disconnected" from the other revisions of the asset.
  
  

A new file will be created in the archive based on the revision you chose.
