How to store the folder hierarchy information of the input file in the file's metadata.
Folder hierarchy to metadata mapping
Where: Channel | Metadata | Folder hierarchy to Metadata tab
This feature can be utilized to store folder hierarchy information (based on the input folder hierarchy) in metadata fields. First choose the number of subfolder levels to include. Note that level 1 is the first subfolder within the input folder. Then choose the metadata field in which you wish to store the folder name. You can map up to six subfolder levels to a corresponding metadata field to be able to trace a file's origin in a folder structure.
To make this function work correctly, you also need to enable scanning of subfolders inside the channel's input folder.
