You can build your data model and permission sets from scratch. You are completely free to do so, but we suggest talking to a Fotoware Alto solution specialist for best practice advice. If you decide to do it yourself, you should ask yourself several questions before starting to configure the Content Platform.
A Simplified Model
Ask yourself the following questions:
Example: product content, branding, internal communication
What information do you associate with each of these content types? How would you describe the material to a person outside your company?
Product content is imagery for products, with one or multiple products visible, as well as technical documentation.
Branding material is created per brand and campaign, as well as general branding material like a logo.
Concretize on this information per type. What is the product? What is the technical documentation?
Products are organic foods and non-food articles.
Technical documentation contains text about ingredients, production procedures, markets, and resellers.
