Folder navigation

Folder navigation means that FotoWeb displays the entire folder structure in the index area and allows users to navigate the folder tree to view the assets in each folder. The top-level folder is displayed by default. You can remove this top-level folder from the folder hierarchy.

• Turn on the Folder navigation toggle to allow users to browse individual subfolders within the document folder. The document folder itself will not appear in the navigation path.
• If you turn on the Show document folders toggle, the top-level indexed document folder is also included in folder browsing and the navigation path.
• Turn off the Folder navigation toggle to disable folder navigation. A navigation path is not displayed.

Taxonomy navigation

By enabling Taxonomy navigation on the same page, you can define metadata exposed in the side panel and allow users to select it to filter the archive contents.

1. All the metadata fields created on the system are listed. Turn on the toggle for the fields you want to expose for navigation in the archive. 
2. When a taxonomy is selected (or unselected), it is moved to the top of the list if no other taxonomies are selected; otherwise, it's moved directly below the last selected taxonomy. 
3. To reorder how the taxonomies appear, hover over the taxonomy you would like to move and use the handle icon to drag it up or down to the appropriate spot. 
4. Select Save.
