Mapping file name to metadata fields

In the Color Factory Settings app, expand the relevant channel and select Metadata. 

Open the File Name to Metadata tab.

With this feature, you can add parts of a file’s name to specified fields in the metadata. First, choose the number of parts in which the file names are split. Typically, a separator is used to separate file name prefixes that you want to add to the metadata field. If no separators are used, select Use fixed size parts instead of separator character and manually enter the number of characters to be extracted from the file name. If the filenames contain a separator, enter the separator character in the corresponding field. Finally, choose the metadata fields to which you would like to add each string.
