Creating a metadata macro

To apply a metadata macro, you first need to create one. Once created, you can copy and edit a macro, as well as rearrange the order of macros if necessary.

Macros are applied in sequence, beginning with the first on the list. If you have a large workflow with several macros, you may need to rearrange the order so that specific macros are applied before others.

  1. Select Apply metadata macros.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Enter a name for the macro (maximum 50 characters).
  4. Select Add operations.
  5. Select values from the drop-down lists for field and operation. You can have as many operations as necessary.
  6. Enter a value in the Value field, or select Insert field to select the field from a drop-down list.
  7. Select Add condition. You can add only one condition.
  8. Select values from the field and evaluation operator drop-down lists.
  9. Enter a value in the Value field (if relevant).
  10. Select Save.

Copying a metadata macro

To copy a macro, select the 3 dots > Duplicate.

_COPY is automatically happened to the macro name. To make changes to the copied macro, select the 3 dots > Edit.

Rearranging the order

You can move macros by selecting the blue area and dragging the macro to a different position in the list of macros.

To return to the original order, select Reset order.
