Adjusting the date and time of processed files
Use this feature to change the date and time stamp on processed images.

Changing date and time
- In Color Factory Settings, expand the relevant channel and select Metadata.
- Open the General tab. The following dialog appears.
- Select Adjust Date and Time to configure date and time stamps.
- Now, select which date fields to update from the list.
In the Shift with field, specify how much to adjust the selected date or time, or both, fields.
Example
To shift the time forward by 30 minutes, enter 00:30:00 (= 0 hours, 30 minutes, 0 seconds)
To shift the value backward, add a minus sign before the offset.
For example, 0000-00-00T00:30:00 shifts the time forward by 30 minutes, while -0000-00-00T00:30:00 shifts it backward by 30 minutes.
To shift dates and times, use the YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss format. Each component represents the amount by which the corresponding part of the date or time is adjusted.
To shift a date forward by four years, enter: 0004-00-00T00:00:00
If the original date does not contain a time value, Color Factory sets the time to 12:00:00 when applying the shift. If the original date already contains a time value, that time is preserved.
For example, if an asset's Expiry date is 2026-01-01 and you apply 0004-00-00T00:00:00, the result becomes 2030-01-01 12:00:00. If the original value contains a time, for example 2026-01-01 08:30:00, the result becomes 2030-01-01 08:30:00.
To move a date backward by four years, enter -0004-00-00T00:00:00.
