Software requirements

Note: Ensure all Windows updates are applied before installing Fotoware on the server.

Windows Server 2022, 2019, or 2016 - only 64-bit versions are supported.
Internet Information Services (IIS), minimum version 10.0 (this is installed automatically by FotoWeb unless you are doing an offline installation)

Microsoft SQL Server—This is optional and used for the now-deprecated reporting module. You can connect to an existing in-house SQL server or download a recent version of SQL Server Express (external link to the Microsoft website). Remember that the Express version has a database size limit of 10 GB. The SQL server can be omitted if reporting is not required.
